Brick Manufacturer Benefits from New Machinery

Mobile Electrics, 03 9761 8500. A major cement brick manufacturer off Cooper Street in Campbellfield recently commissioned Mobile Electrics, as they required additional support for a major brick press upgrade. This involved working together with engineers from Germany to install a new Hess RH2000 machine, replacing the existing Hess machine, in order to improve the throughput. The Hess machine used Siemens S7, 200 ET200I and ET200M PLC’s ProFace Touch Screens and Sinumeric LV series variable speed drives. There was a degree of difficulty to adapt the new machine to the existing automation hardware, however our automation technicians were more than capable of resolving any problems.

Currently the project has been completed and is fully functional. The client is now enjoying the benefits of improved productivity and lower downtime.
