Mobile Electrics, 03 9761 8500. We were previously commissioned by a Brick Manufacturer located on Northbourne Road in Campbellfield. The firm required a professional company to provide thermal imaging of switchboards and control panels annually. Such machines involved in the thermal survey included Miniwall Splitter, Wetcast Casting Machines, Cassini Grinders and a Hess Brick Press Machine. Among these were Hitachi Micro EH range and Allan Bradley Micrologix 1200 PLC’s.
Mobile Electrics know the importance of routinely checking your switchboards and control panels for hotspots or any abnormalities, give us a call if you haven’t had a thermal survey for a while, 03 9761 8500.

Mobile Electrics, 03 9761 8500. Recently we were contracted to carry out  thermal surveys for this major company’s recycling divisions. With operations across Victoria, this client understands the potential of fire risks from “hot spots” in electrical equipment.

A thermal survey was conducted on every switchboard or machine enclosure that posed a potential thermal risk. Machinery found on these sites included Stadler and Lubo separators, Techgene and Ambaco balers, Eriez Eddy current separators, Titek vision sorters and Binder separators. Typical equipment found in these machines includes Direct Logic DL205 PLC’s and C-More Touch screens, Omron Advanced CP1E and Allan Bradley Micrologix 1600 PLC’s, interfaced to ABB, Zener and Hitachi VSD’s.

For all of your thermal imaging requirements contact Mobile Electrics on 03 9761 8500.

Client gets blown away by Mobile Electrics expertise

Mobile Electrics, 03 9761 8500. A major industrial fan company, specialising in custom centrifugal fans, axial fans, blowers, damper flow control devices and acoustic silencers, based on Mountain Highway, Bayswater, recently recruited the expertise of Mobile Electrics to build the controls for specialised equipment to test the performance of large exhaust fans. These skid mounted fans are used to extract dangerous gasses from underground mines, so the performance is crucial to mine operators.

The test rig was needed because of the high power demands, as well as the requirement to provide mine site voltages, typically 1000 volts 3 phase. The system included Danfoss 55Kw 1000v soft starter, Allan Bradley Micrologix 1200 PLC, Redlion temperature controller and Proface touch screen. Prior to manufacturer, the system was designed and drawn using Electrical AutoCAD by our electrical engineers.

The rig performed excellently and our client was very pleased with the result. Call us for your next project on 03 9761 8500.
